I Want to Break Free (From the Mental Health Check Collection)
36 x 48 inches
Acrylic, gouache, charcoal, and coffee on gallery-wrapped canvas
This original painting examines burnout, repetition, and the emotional split between the life we perform and the life we long for. A suited man continues forward through the daily grind while a pale blue version of himself pulls away, barefoot and urgent, trying to break free.
The time clock, graffiti-covered wall, tethered figures, open beach window, and small bird on the sill all build the story: responsibility holds the body in place, but the soul is still reaching for air.
Available at this price June 1–15 only.
