PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

I’m a multidisciplinary artist based in Houston, Texas, working at the intersection of figurative expressionism, text-based art, assemblage, and narrative. My work often centers on themes of mental health, memory, and personal identity, told through raw visual storytelling and layered emotional landscapes. Over the past decade, I’ve exhibited widely, collaborated with community organizations, provided art therapy programming, and continue to expand my practice through writing, teaching, and installation work.

The Mend Center – Art Therapy Facilitator
Houston, TX | 2022 – 2024
• Led an art therapy program for patients focused on emotional expression through painting, drawing, and conceptual language
• Co-developed a collaborative project inspired by The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, by John Koenig, where patients coined personal emotional terms and created artworks around their definitions
• Organized and exhibited the final body of work, which sold in its entirety and funded the expansion of The Mend Center’s studio and programming
