Where the Compass Fails

A Swan Lake inspired triptych by that follows Odette, Siegfried, and Odile through grace, desire, temptation, and emotional misdirection.

The collection began with the ballet, but the paintings are not a literal retelling. They move through the private tension underneath the story: the ache of beauty, the pressure of choice, the seduction of illusion, and the moment certainty starts to fall apart.

Odette carries grace under pressure. Siegfried carries the burden of direction. Odile carries the danger of what looks beautiful but cannot be trusted.

Together, the three paintings form a story about longing, performance, memory, and the quiet place where instinct keeps moving even after the compass fails.
