Graceless is both an unraveling and a reconstruction. Inspired by the song “Graceless”, by The National, the piece threads together lyrics from the track with pages torn from The Book of Revelations, Beastie Boys lines, and biblical fragments, creating a collage of faith, failure, and defiance. This isn’t a cry for salvation—it’s a statement from someone who already knows they’re broken… and knows they’re still loved.
At its center, ‘FAITH' rests inside the black hole of the “O” in GOD—a gravity well of belief and doubt. On the left side, a crowned head repeats like a glitch in a holy system: the representation of a king reduced to ornament. The word Remid appears, misspelled and scratched out, a visual stutter that speaks volumes. Even mistakes—especially the ones we try to cover—are loved here.
This is not about redemption in the traditional sense. It’s about the rage and grace that coexist in anyone who's ever been told they’re too much or not enough.
