I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. Painting, drawing and creating have always been in my blood. I grew up about an hour south of Houston, Texas and moved to the city in 2000 to attend The Art Institute of Houston.  I obtained a degree in Graphic Design in 2002.  After spending several years in the career field, I switched to full-time artist nearly 10-years ago.  My work spans several styles created in numerous mediums.  Oil, acrylic, latex, oil sticks, charcoal and just about anything else that I can use to make a mark.

Song lyrics and the words of some of my favorite poets find their way into my work quite often, and sometimes become the main subject of the work themselves.  Some of my current works are created from my visualization of song lyrics.  By painting the image that a song conjures in my head, I can take the viewer on the trip that some of my favorite songs take me on time after time.

Painting and creating are something that I  have done since I was a kid, and something I plan to do for the rest of my time here on the thing we call Earth.
